I don't want to flood the the vault with my clips so i thought i'd put one here.

ANyways, my liquid has been in a state of total confusion lately.... im starting to lose my ability to draw a line that seperates my liquid from contemporary movement. Which was starting to damage my liquid quite badly.
This clip was taken at the end of a really long day of really unclear, disconnected and uncomfortable dancing.

Anyways, this is me trying to be as rigid and one-dimensional a dancer as possible.... i think? Trying to lose the contemporary feel.

Anyways i guess this is the Journey section so i will have to include a few stats.

5'9", 23 yrs old, first stepped foot onto a dancefloor 2004, started liquid 2005, started popping 2006, started contemporary 2007.

And now we're up to date!

I can dig it.

I really like the way you transition through out your body.  Some of the things you take behind your head and transfer down through the middle of your torso.  The different combinations of how you flow through your fingers were really nice.  I especially liked the way you took your time with the motions.  I have a hard time doing that as I dance, gave me some interesting ideas on how to use my speed control in another way.

On the same tip though, possibly try putting a little more feeling into the motions.  Whether it be making your arm waves faster, changing directions sharper, a little contrast would add a lot I think.  Not sure if it was just purposes of the clip but move around a bit more, explore you area, and maybe define your dancing space more.

Thanks a lot, I feel I'll be taking a lot from watching your clip.

Be well

Your body isolation is REALLY looking great. What would you recommend as the best exercises to work on that concept?

here's another one, it might be a bit less consistent than the last one... but anyways i thought there were enough cool bits that make watching all of it worthwhile.

loss of quality is pretty dissapointing.. . ...really eliminates a lot of movement quality, which was half the reason i wanted to post this clip in the first place! sheesh

 hope the link works

So it wasn't gonna be weekly, just those 2 clips posted at different times.

sifi man, you are serious business right now :) harnessing the power of isolation in liquid like no other.

i apologize if u ever see me biting ur steeze in my future clips, but i cant forget ur last 2 clips even if i tried, they are burned in my head pretty hardcore

not much critique here just keep doin you. get more comfortable with speed control and try to work in more blow ups/power stuff like towards the end of the clip cause that stuff was scary good.
