I think my primary critique would be to slow things down and smooth things out. Make sure you are running smooth clean lines. In my opinion liquid looks better in long sleeves, though people like Distortion and others seem to do it well in short sleeves.

My critique of the clip overall would to dance in a space that provides a full body shot. Maybe get outdoors, just somewhere besides a room or garage. One thing I am bad about doing is posting clips for critique that are way too long, 3-4 minutes usually does it.

Overall, I'd like to say that you have a large arsenal of movements and a good grasp of the dance itself. I'd just like to see you slow things down and polish them up a bit.

slow down like a boss lol. You're showing the hypeness by going fast, but in order to go fast you have to have control. If you were really in control and went that fast the clip wouldn't have lasted 8 minutes. You'd be gassed quick. Actually flex your arm muscles... your triceps and forearms. This will allow you to shape your lines better. You need to find the tension that works for you. (When i say flex don't flex all out. flex like the muscles were a rubberband getting tighter and looser depending on the movement).

Don't look at your liquid. (I still have that problem.) You are performing project yourself by looking out. Furthermore your body has to be corrected. Take an active stance where your body weight is evenly distributed and build out of that. Lower you center of gravity also, that will help unstiffen you.

You obviously have the feeling. Continue drilling technique and you will be able to express what you feel and take control of the music using more than fast and slow.

the song you're dancing to (and 99% of music in general) never "slows down."  it remains at a consistant tempo (ie: 135 bpm) throughout its entirety.  the problem, imo, with electronic music is its measured in tempos of 100+ bpm which is far too fast for most people to perform a complex set of dance motions to. it's for this reason you should HALF-TIME the electronic music that you dance to.  dance to every *other* beat in the song. this will put you at around 60-90bpm depending on what kind of music you're listening to, which is a far more easily digestible tempo to dance and present illusions to.

you have a lot of good motion here, just take it down to half-time which will force you to clean it up.

Pretty good for a first video. Nice finger rolls. Really liked that ending too. Like everyone else, I say slow down and clean up.

Don't slow down randomly. Generally, slow down not necessarily when the music does, but when the music gets less intense (which can mean a lot of things). Sometimes it's appropriate to go really slow but with a ton of tension when the music is really intense, particularly with dubstep. The speed and tension you were using 0:47 to 1:00 is what you should have been using for the whole track before that.

What will help clean up your liquid a lot is to focus on elbow positioning. The majority of the time your elbows stay by your ribs unless you are moving your arm so far that your elbows are forced to move. Instead, move your arms so they make clean lines in relation to wrist angle/hand/direction of your flow. How your arms are at 5:40 is close to what I'm talking about.

a wise man told me once...a couple weeks ago...that it's not about moving your liquid or even your arms around your body but instead it's about moving your body around your liquid.
