Site Updates - July 2011
« on: July 18, 2011, 10:19:18 AM »

Some updates for July 2011.

-The F.N blog is up! We've redirected the main page directly to the blog as our one-stop-shop for access to content. On the page you'll find links to our social presence on pages like facebook (like the page please :)) and twitter as well as to F.N original content like the Liquid and Digits Wiki, interviews, tutorials, and our newest project--The Archives.

-The Archives have been launched! It’s long past spring and change is still in the air. Not just change for F.N but change for the entire notion of what Liquid Dance is and how it can be taught. Today marks the launch for The Archives–F.N’s attempt to document and break down motion which is directly or indirectly related to Liquid Dancing. Things like paths, patterns, grids, isolations, physics, textures, philosophy and more will be covered in The Archives by some of the forefront technique theorists in the F.N community. This will by no means be an all-encompassing compendium of motion for the entire dance style, but it will certainly have you in front of the mirror practicing new things.  It’s small now, but in time will be a valuable resource for newcomers and vets alike.

-Features! Soundcloud embedding is now available throughout the forums. For more details check the blog post.

-Articles! Groundwork article for Open Source Dance is up and can be read here. For any questions, comments or concerns regarding Open Source Dance, please visit the OSD Thread.

-Subscriptions! Both the blog and forum are available via RSS. If you're not familiar with RSS, it's a great tool to aggregate content from all over the web into a single incoming source. It also lets you know exactly when new content is available rather than forcing you to visit and refresh your favorite sites over and over throughout the day. For more info on RSS, check here. For those already familiar with it, subscribe to the blog and subscribe to the forum.

Thanks for everyone's patience as we roll out new features and content. :)
