telemetrik

super stoked on this 1.  just picked up this album.  I feel it is very well thought out and a refreshing addition to the 2008 drum and bass releases.  For me, this is quite possible best dnb album of 2008.
I hope this guy keeps up the solid work.

OK, I haven't been listening to anything new. I have fell in love with the locals all over again though.

http://mp3.nefarious.net/

That site right there is all mixes from detroit DJ's. All the mixes are fantastic.

To save you guy's some confusion and to help you find something you like i'll break it down for you

D&B

Anything under the MD! downloads section. My personal favorite is the "Common Bonds" mix, it is like LTJ bukum, the whole atmospheric jam thing.
Matt Clarke
Ronin Selekta (Liquid funk)
Darkcube  (Harder old school D&B)
Kruse Kontrol (Jungle classics, d/l something from him if you need an education)

Minimal techno

Eric Cloutier (He is from Detroit, but you eastcoast cats got him now)
Element 8 (Old name of Eric Cloutier)
The Ryan Elliot vs Matt Dear set was an epic fucking night, I got to see this set on mushrooms.
Vacuum
Mike Servito (one of my favorite locals, always delivers the hottest new micro housey tunes)
John Johr
Retail

Techno

Tom Linder
Twonz (I have been listening to that set of his on there for liek 2 weeks now, awesome techhouse)
Dennis Donohue
Justin Howse (this guy worked at the local record store and is ultimately the guy who formed my taste in music)

Kai you might find the JR303/Jared Wilson sets interesting

Starkey - Ephemeral Exhibits

super happy with this album.  I really like this kids take on dubstep.  Coming out of the stateside movement this is the first east coast producer to really catch my ear. I am piecing together my first dubstep set. My hope is to get it recorded in the near future, when I do I'll post it up.
