Dancing to jam bands..
« on: September 19, 2010, 08:43:34 AM »

From past posts it appears that everyone collectively seems to dance to some sort of electronic music (love me some dnb, jungle and dubstep), but does anyone ever try to dance to any jam bands? I know, I know, stereotypical hippie over here, but honestly- grateful dead/phish/medeski martin and wood have really good flow jams that I personally love to dance to.. Anyone else here with me?
If you're interested in changing up your tunes or just trying something different hit me up, I'll send you some shows that will get you dancing on another level. It's at least worth a try :)

I like widespread panic and the string cheese incident. But honestly it doesn't seem right to do futuristic type dances to that type of music.

So yeah I like to jam out to stuff like that sometimes but the dancing that usually goes along with it really turns me off. All I have to say is white people (and especially hippies) have a huge problem being cool on the dance floor. They always want to lose it and go nuts and I guess channel a more primitive state lol.

I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but maybe I didn't do the right drugs?

I can liquid dance to jam bands, but I generally just do not like the music that much. They all have their good moments, but for the most part I find jam band music pretty lame,

Well, NOISEassult and I are going to see a jam band on Friday September 24, 2010 in Asheville, NC.  I'd invite you, but according to your profile, you live in Illinois.  Plus, I'm not sure my girlfriend would want me hanging out with a girl who's profile name announces she likes raw, unprotected dick from the masses.  No offense, but you ain't gonna garner too much respect around here with a name like that.  And considering the number of females that do these dances, you'd be doing yourself and the other women (and girls) a favor if you maintained a little bit more class.  Just a thought.

If your girlfriend can't appreciate a classic wu-tang lyric then I'm unsure of how much respect I can garner for her, or yourself for that matter. Also, if people are going to be assholes on account of my username then what does that really say about this site? Surely everyone wont be a jagoff.

it says nothing about floasis.net.  it simply says something about 1 member, that posts once per month on average.
