I have a love/hate relationship with the Twin. Sometimes I think he is an absolute genius, while at other times I wish for his hair to get caught in the gears of a transcontinental bus. It's weird, I will listen to DrukQs one afternoon, and I can't get enough of it, and then the next day I can't get through 15 seconds of most of the tracks (except Vordhosbn, which is just sick no matter when I listen to it).

That said, I was thinking of picking up a Squarepusher record. Which would you recommend, Kai? I haven't heard much of his stuff...

Hard Normal Daddy, Feed Me Wierd Things, and Burning'n'Tree are all fantastic albums from squarepusher.  I tend to shy away from Ultravisitor and Music Is Rotted One Note.

gonna download this today it was goin slow as balls when i tried it b4.

think its time for me to get my 2nd squarepusher album too, couple tracks on 'hello everything' been growing on me.

niiice set ;], found it cool/funny how he tottally switched it up halfway thru, although prolly not so funny to mr. kai who spent hundreds of dollars expecting to hear more idm from him. i dug both halves :). last 3 minuites would've been insane to hear live.

I always preferred Richard James releases under the moniker AFX. Aphex Twin is cool, too, though. I have a feeling that he probably modified his playlist for the more *mainstream* Coachella crowd. He played a lot of old classics, old releases on Warp and such.
