i read the same thing.  from what i gathered, there is a lot of bokeh going on in the film and it's best to concentrate on the in-focus aspects of the scene to not get motion sickness

Well thats asinine.. Transformers 2 has nothing to do with avatar.. Avatar(from what i hear, i have not seen this movie) is supposed to have absolutely groundbreaking special effects, while transformers was 100lbs of CGI shoved in a 10lb bag... Different directors, writer, focus.. So im slightly confused while one shitty movie will deter you from seeing something else that is completely unrelated..

kai review in less than 140 characters:

cliche to the max (how many times must this storyline be spun?), but ultimately emotionally powerful and visually stunning.

It was a solid film...story was pretty weak and cliche as kai said. Visually I was impressed, beyond that I will say it was decent at best. District 9 still gets my vote for movie of 2009....right behind Hangover (obviously).

Wasn't it nice to see A-tar and think to yourself....damn the united states are some assholes. Thanks James Cameron for spoon feeding us our greedy, destructive ways!

I'll take a 2nd helping of the white guilt please.  yeah dude.  3D was cool, but I got a bit bored at parts.
