I'm sorry but I can't go. Talked to my boss today and we are converting all the Embarq customers to Centurylink at the end of July. I'm going to be working everyday the last two weeks of July and 12 hours days at that. Sorry guys :( im bummed.

2. Will there be food vendors?

Yes

 

 

3. Will there be beer/alcohol available for sale on site?

No. It is BYOB for those 21+ (no glass containers please)

 

 

4. Will cars be allowed at one’s campsite?  Is there a fee?

We have free parking outside the gate and you can walk in just as you did at UGS 1-4 or you may bring your car into the campsite for an additional $10. This fee applies every time you bring a vehicle through the gate. We strongly discourage coming and going from the event during it's course. Please bring what you think you need for the weekend. Vehicles 16ft or over will be charged $40. We do for the first time have RV sites available with power hook-ups. These are $90 for the weekend and must be reserved by emailing catalyticsouls@gmail.com with the subject line UGS7 RV Site.

kinda bad, epically low turnout(approx 800) and a breakdown in organization/planning. friday was decent besides the low turnout we were kind of late getting there and settled in so dancing didnt start until 10 or 11. for saturday they ended up closing the stage we had planned on being at and most of the headliners for any stage were rumored to cancel. timeslots were in complete disarray and turnout was even lower than friday. many locals played filling in for headliners(to name a few: eprom/figure/liquid stranger/spl/sphongle). not sure exactly what happened but it was sad to see =\. lotta people sending out hate to tom foolery and catalytic souls but imo this was atleast partly out of their hands. they've thrown quality events for many years and have never shown indication of being "those kind" of rave promoters.

on the upside, there were some good parts music-wise. met some cool ppl and had a fun time hangin with friends and wandering around gettin into shenanigans. also me and pwt got to dance on stage during dj dara friday for 5-10mins(we were sposed to do this for SPL saturday for longer and have footage, but yea)

i doubt they'll throw another underground sound. so consider yourself lucky u were at one of the best ones :)

Well thats shitty, glad you guys were able to make the best of it though... I shouldn't be surprised though ;).

Yeah I'm sooo happy I ended up going to UGS5, definitely something I'll never forget.
