how many webcams can skype support at once? i thought it was just 2, but i'm not sure...

tokbox is great because people don't need to download software, windows/mac/linux users all can access it, etc.

tokbox sucks because flash video hogs CPU usage. I might try using Chrome with it, could be better.

tokbox also allows you to easily share the URL of your session out to anyone in your aim/msn/googletalk/twitter/etc lists. we could get into the habit of sharing to twitter w/ hashtag #floasis. or just pasting the URL into the b.a.w.l.s. chat like i did last night.

lol i've been trying to get webcam sessions going for YEARS, just ask kai :P
last night was the most successful i've seen it for sure.

Skype group video will cost some money, if I read that correctly.

I think I like what tokbox has to offer so far...

i also think it would take a group vote on what to work on and when. i wouldnt mind taking the poll and organizing what days we are doing what and keep the schedule for it, as well as see who will volunteer to show what class. also i think a one min go around cypher should be held at the end of each session... but thats just my opinion might help the new heads link together what they have learned so far as well as get use to sharing their blossoming skills/ideas/concepts with us all.

i think this is a good idea. maybe we can all list the stuff that we want to work on personally, and then we can all vote on what would be good for a group setting?

I'm working on:
Tracing/Countours
Threading
Tutting
Random flexibility stuff

I'm diving into Turfing, but that'll be a while before something comes out of it.
