luvin this lineup.  A lot of these female dj's I've been wanting to hear but they usually throw down in clubs.  So this will be cool to see em in a party atmosphere.  I heard really good things about J phillip last time she was in town, and I'm a fan of what I've heard from the dirtybird label.

my issue is that there is no difference between a male and female dj.  it's like being picked first or last on the Math team because of your gender. it doesn't make sense.  either you have skills, or you dont.  gender should not play a positive or negative role in the world of music.

reminds me of a party in Chi last year that booked dj's based on a theme revolving around "green"  (Dj Jade, Dj Forrest Green, etc).  how about booking dj's based on talent instead?

naw I totally hear/agree where your coming from.  Unfortunatly, I do see alot of male dominated lineups when I know there are skilled females that I would like to hear as well.   Not to mention,  I've heard good things about 3/4 this lineup.  These girls will smash.

you see a lot "male dominated" lineups because it's a male-dominated hobby/profession.  when you have 100 male dj's for every 1 female dj, of course the ratio should be the same when a lineup is considered, especially given that out of those 100 male dj's, only 1 might be good, so now break that down to female dj's and the numbers are way lower (not because theyre female, just statistically speaking).
