my secret dream is for anyone and everyone liquid-related (all lpc + friends, all liquid lights) to come out to the same demf and everyone hangs out on the same floor of the same hotel

im just about as upset with the lineup as Kai is. Man last year gave me so much home, artist like RJD2, Glitch Mob, Bassnectar, Rother, and so on. This year is the same played out headliners as previous years, HOWEVER. one thing about RJD2, Glitch, BN, and Z-trip, was they were all on the Redbull stage last year, and what im hoping for is that redbull will contribute high calibur artist this year as they did last year, and that they are just not on the lineup yet... *crosses fingers*

Detroit has been getting blasted with dope shit all pre fest. Flying Lotus played last week, and again in a few weeks, glitchmob plays here the day before or after they play Chi, Excision just played. We have had our fair share of dope, and still some to come. I am with everyone else this year. The line-up is trash. While some of those acts do have some heart value for me (Stacey Pullen, Cassy, Kenny Larkin, Theo Parrish), most of the line-up is just sad. I read that Richie will be going back to the old material for this plastikman set which would blow my fucking socks off, but if it is the same souless bleep bloop bullshit him and his camp put out I will be hugely upset. I can dig some house still if I try, and with that little nudge from PWT I can easily get into house mode!

As for things I really wanna see this year... Pretty Lights and DJ Hype are the only thing appealing to me.

Kyle Hall is on the list and seriously I have seen this kid twice now and he killed both times, but only if you can apprietiate the Detroit sound or the fact that the kid isn't even old enough to buy a pack of smokes yet.

Also to be noted... go find an image of Ida Engberg and then tell me you wont atleast stop by that stage for a second or 2 ;)

It's always fun times for me...

...see some new dancers, visit with some favorites, and I love looking across at Canada and thinking, I could go there.

The music usually falls into place here and there but like most things I go to experience the peoples.  HAHAHAHHaHAHAHAHh and DEMF usually has some interesting characters roaming about the entire weekend.  PRETTY LIGHTS FTW!!! FINALLY!!!

Plus I'm sure the afters will be dopetastic...not tortured soul dope but like way late into the morning dope.

what he said.

id prob make it to DEMF this year if I wasnt in Bermuda the week before. But i have to agree with Kai in that, if i had the time to hit up another fest besides Starscape, I'd be looking for something a lil more dope than DEMF.
