line-up is alright, I guess..  Just not my cup of psychedelic tea.  wouldn't mind seeing theivery corporation play a crowd this large,  and roni size reprazent miiight hold it down, but, meh maybe not...  overall the electronic vibe looks like its gunna be weak.

to summarize what i've said on other forums about coachella 09:

-the current lineup is meh.
-i havent heard of a lot of those names though, which i think is good.  it allows for a lot of potential new awesomeness.
-last year, the biggest 2 headliners (prince and aphex twin) got announced within 3 weeks of the festival, so dont count on that list being the final lineup
-do lab folks (tipper, bassnectar, glitch mob, et al) havent been announced yet
-the music of coachella is only one portion of the overall experience
-i think i'll be saving for lightning in a bottle instead
-hey, at least it's still better than Ultra ^.^

Amy Winehouse and The Ting Tings would be fun to see. Despite being a huge mess to the masses, I absolutly love Amy Winehouses music for dance pratice. I could have swore I checked a few months ago and Kate Nash was on the line up, that girl is fricking funny and cute.

Groove Armada too, how fun would it be to see "I see you baby, shakin that ass" Live... I would go nuts just because that was one my first favorite electronic music tracks!

Holy shit, my friend's band the Headlights are playing! I used to play shows with them back in college!

Probably not a good thing for you. Most of those acts that I know you wouldn't recognize are rock bands.
