The sad thing is that things have been changing so slowly for so long, this younger generation doesn't really have a reference point to see how much freedom is being taken away from us!
Although I try to remain positive, my intuition is telling me that you are right - and there is some crazy shit coming down the pike (as you say). I do think, though, that through it all, everything is going to okay. I felt a lot of this coming for a really long time, and have done my best to prepare, but DAMN, there is only so much one can do!
