The music I enjoy creates cool visuals in my head, shapes, lines, whatever, kind of like closing your eyes while your tripping. I find that liquid and digitz gives me the ability to show these things when they come to be.
Trying to express this more and just being chronically bored lead me to really get into liquid. I looked into VJing a little but decided that learning liquid would be easier than wrestling with software. I do some drawing, sometimes drawing music, but I feel a stronger connection to dancing.
I am wondering, is this ability to visualize music common to us that most people don't or can't do?
I also love the freedom and infinite possiblities offered by liquid. There is always a new way to move, you just have to think of it.
Plus, improvising is much more my thing than choreography.
