Solo's DVD
« on: August 22, 2011, 09:13:27 PM »

I've been thinking about making a dvd similar to the end of the LPC. I just studio quality solo's. not a quite like the bios on floasis, as there will be no bio, just your name, the tracks name, city and crew affiliation. these would not be sold and you would not be paid for your part in dvd. these dvds would just be used to help spread the liquid gospel. As kai has somethings up his sleeve to help teach a younger generation. this would be to help inspire a younger generation. this post is a temp check, anybody down?

Filming in certain areas would be would done by the individual performing and the raw would be submitted to me further editing, mainly sound.  other people, without the means to film themselves, I would be willing to travel to film.  individuals filming themselves would receive instructions on creating a uniform back drop, camera height, angle etc, as best as possible atleast.

footage would be for the purpose of this dvd alone and no other projects.  the footage would be released in dvd format alone via dvd only.  purposely redundant.

DVDs would be order off a website for only the cost of shipping and a $1 or whatever the cost of the dvd.  money will be lost on my part.  I will be distributing these dvds like hot cakes everytime I go out and I will be giving others copies to do the same.  the talent level in the liquid community is high right now.  I want ppl to see that and be inspired.  to see what level you can take this dance to with the right amount of dedication.  Not see it from 1 crew, 1 region, 1 dancer, but from a united community of like minded dancers.  no beef. no bullshit.  just you trying to get your best on film for the growth and betterment of the community.

All generations are welcome.  LLC, LPC, Reflective, to Floasis, DM and younger.  I want this to be multi-generational and global.  Rush, Kevin, Cham, etc.

Dancers will not be paid.  So I understand I'm asking a lot from the community.  I'm asking you to give your skill, freely, with the pure intention of inspiring another generation.  I'm not saying that new dancers aren't inspired by us already, but I'm thinking about this on a bigger scale.  men or mice.  who's down?

If enough heavy hitters elect not to participate, and video doesn't meet my vision, then I'm scraping the whole thing.  no hard feelings.  as stated b4, it's a temp check.

IMHO, that's not a lot to ask of at all :)

and i'm sure u might've realized this already, but u can ask myself or kai for resources to beef up your video editing skills, which is probably the easiest/most fun thing ive ever learned how todo...provided your pc isnt old n busted lol

You know I'm down home slice. Sounds like a great Idea and something I'd love to be apart of. ;)

offtopic, but glad u brought ur old raver name back lol. lox(liquid oxygen) is a cool dance name :3

Cassie, TMY, Bird, and Will.  4 ppl with interest that i would want in the video, but this will require others.  Joon likes the idea but won't be dancing.  Thats a big disappointment for me.  I'm not getting enough replies from the other heavy hitters.  Migz, pwt, dm, MKG, lpc, tiny, and others.  I'm gonna give ppl another day or 2 b4 i scrap  the whole thing.  Thanks TMY and evey1 else who showed interest.
