ok, it seems people arnt motivated enough to take this seriously. Anyone who wants to be a part of what the liquid digitz wiki will consist of, post your AIM and we will talk about the ground work for this in an AIM chat room.

The peices which i'd personally like to see in the Liquid and Digitz wikis include, but are not necessarily limited to:

-Summary
-History (including controversial discussion on waving and cultural implications of such)
-Characteristics (perhaps could be covered in Summary)
-Terminology

What's wrong with this? You could just make a topic for each category then people could write in what they thought. Then out of that narrow it down to the best and most relevant posts and compose the section. That way people could contribute at their own leisure instead of setting up something as inefficient as a chat. People are working on vastly different schedules, unless there is a press to get it done as quick as possible. Why not mosey on down the dusty trail and enjoy the roses?

like i said in orig post, forum threads would be used in addition to the chat, the thing about these forums/threads; they are a MASSIVE communication barrier, this is why people dont learn as fast as they would actually talking to someone in real time/close to real time, especially with clarification and disagreements happening, 1 topic would take DAYS/WEEKS etc to get settled on something instead of most of it getting done in an hour if people would just set aside some time. but i guess thats askin too much, i'll have to think about just switching it to an all-forum thing.
