Spring Movements
« on: March 21, 2011, 04:54:22 PM »

Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum and I plan on posting more :), but I wanted to start off with:

Spring Movements
"Inspired by the uprisings occurring in the Middle East and North Africa, this film is an ode to movements striving to reclaim their dignity and sovereignty from their keepers."

Thanks, I mix a lot of styles in, but I do more waving then actual liquiding.
I do mostly isolation, popping and waving. Sorry if I am posting a lot of clips lol.

hey kian welcome to the site :)

as verb said this forum is usually for liquid and digits, however theres alot of logic and spatial isolation in ur style so personally ive got no objections. i lurk WCP so ive seen several of ur clips already.

Thanks for the welcome man :) I've been dancing for 5.6 years and I am 20 years old lol.
I've been looking around here and the community here seems cool. It's much different than WCP lol.

One similar kind of logic that I like to use that seems to be in liquiding is having constant flow between movements.

Welcome! Good dancing and great videography on that first video! Loved 2:10-2:18 =)

That's the definition of liquid right there.

A lot of the skills you have learned for popping will benefit you a lot with liquid.

damn dude your on fire! love the bboy moves, but you got some superb isolation making your tutting and waving exponentially better. your better than a lot of poppers i seen. surprised i never seen you before now

(on a side note, i remember seeing some guy named Keon, at an Inglewood popping competition called Heartbreakers 2. You seem alot better than he was but im curious if that was you)

I was having kind of a gut feeling that there was going to be a pendulum swing of sorts away from the mime heavy stuff that's been going on more towards that type of definition above for some people. Just a different focus.
