you could definitely use more muscle tension and speed control in this clip. tension you can read a little about here http://floasis.net/wiki/doku.php?id=liquid. basically, use tension to create straighter lines and curves for a more crisp illusion. you also use tension to maintain a constant speed(that you'll learn to vary in time). in the clip every time u went to turn your flow or go into a figure 8 u went from moderate to fast speed without it being smooth or having any logic to it.

your did liquid over your head but nowhere else, try extending out to your sides. also work with levels which is bending at your hips and knees while taking your liquid to the ground, behind your back is another spot. liquid in front of your torso is the easiest place and thats why its also the most common and arguably one of the most boring

was a bit repetitive but as you incorporate stuff from the drills i linked in that other thread this should become less of a problem, just remember that your performing and your goal is to keep your audience guessing as well as entertained. repetition defeats both those purposes.

nice clip overall tho you have the basic understanding now its time to expand, glad to see you sign up again and hope to see more from ya :)

Good start. It's really good that you are already throwing some footwork in there. Biggest issue is a very common beginner issue: you keep your elbows at your sides the vast majority of the time. Take advantage of all the space around you, get those elbows out there!

a) your legs/feet sort of drift back and forth with no definition. make each movement decisive and sharp, and use dimestops to show where the movements begin and end to make it look crisp.

b) change levels. bend at the waist, bend at the knees, etc. just be sure to keep your back straight, and be conscious of your torso in relation to your hips

d) clean up your flow. sometimes it looks unbalanced, other times it looks too constricted. try some bigger hand distances, and try to make sure both hands are covering the same amount of distance

c) muscle tension. play around with it, not just your hands/arms (helps with d) but legs (which will help with a) and back/abs (which will help w/b).
