my party footage
« on: February 07, 2009, 12:25:31 PM »

For those of you who remember me I thought I'd upload this clip from yeasterday's electro tech-house party at my local club, so that you can see that I'm stll alive , lol    ;D

You have to dl it from my server since youtube makes completele impossible to watch and considering it's wasn't recorded in a properly lit place I don't expect any constructive criticism, BUT , comments welcome as always.

P.S. Maybe someone could comment on the quality of music of our local djs and stuff.

Whatever I like that type of music haha.

The one thing I noticed about your dancing though was how you decided to have your legs so far apart and you were taking big steps. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but think about the limitations. When your legs are closer together and you take smaller steps you allow yourself more room to play with the music. Taking big steps like that isn't bad when you're switching from pose to pose and allowing your arms and hands to be the center of attention, which you were doing. Just be mindful if you want to rock the beat better with your body close the gap and shorten your steps.

But this looked a lot better than previous stuff I've seen from you. Good job. The flow was really smooth.

Thanks a lot for your advice birdage, wish I could know your reflective nick.

As for the big steps I guess I was too happy to have so much room for myself and wanted to use as much of it. Another thing is that it helps me change poses faster as you said and especially levels.

Finally I wasn't completely sober that night and it helped me not to flip or something  :D

I was birdman back on reflective.

Yeah the big steps can make it look more graceful so I'm not opposed to them either. Kind of like a more classical dance like contemporary or ballet.

I think I remember you. Weren't it you who made this website with liquid tutorials a couple of years back?

Anyway, judging by the number of responses there is little old folk here left, meh
