Recently I realized that I really should get quality earplugs so I can still enjoy loud music decades down the line. Do you have an recommendations?

I just got some Etymotic ER 20s, which seem to be the only (or by far the most popular on Google) quality earplugs that don't require an expensive custom fit. They were only $13. I'll let you know how they work next time I'm around really loud noise.
I kept taking these in and out during Winter Warmer last weekend. They are pretty good and definitely worth the price. The problem is they do not reduce the volume of bass loud and low enough that you literally feel it. I don't know if I'll wear them all the time, but I'll keep bringing them with me for music that is really really loud and when the only dance space is right by the speaker.
