About a year ago I got into the NYC rave scene and it pretty much helped me grow into a better person. I started gloving, which I know to some old schoolers its not liked very much. But its a form of dance that was created on the foundation of what the dancers of the 80s/90s and 00s eras did. I consider myself a glover. And since I started I always used alot of my body while giving lightshows(not seen much in the L.A Scene). Gloving made me want to improve my dance in the non light form even though one of the cons of gloving is that it makes kids non appreciative of the art that came before their time. But I know alot of glovers in the NYC scene that do appreciate it and do use their bodys during shows instead of waving there hands in a still position. I just want to let Old schoolers know that the these dances are still alive. In all forms, Here in nyc there exist people like me that actually care.  So how did you get started?

always have been a dancer, always will be, but what turned me into what I am today?

She wasn't like the other girls, ya know, no scent, no taste, just wild streak that broke you down into the very thing you dreadfully hoped to be.  It was her and a good guy I use to know.  The combo is what some might call lighting in a bottle.  Man...I miss those days...I still kick it with her...but he...well...he ran away.

I was born in the 80's and was exposed to hip-hop culture at a young age. Didn't really get into dancing until my early teens when it was really big in my community. Kids would travel from town to town, city to city just to battle. My brother used to be a B-boy and I was always a popper.

I never grew out of it and once I hit the rave scene in the late 90's I started getting into more funk styles and also started incorporating it with waves and liquid and house that I saw when I started going back then.

For all you homies who remember back in the Mid-West it was when Massive, Boogie Down Productions, Drop Bass, Mile high, etc were still big promoters at the time when massive's were still a monthly thing and Mad-Town was Krackin'. Raves every weekend, Turn on 2, Even Further, Millennial Dawn in Mil-Town, and of course In the People house.

I didn't start getting into digits until probably 05' or something. before that I used to be into photon lights when everybody was still into sticking, poi, or gloving. Then I got into a pair of bicycle lights that was the last prop I was fond of before I just got stuck on what am today. I do miss seeing the guys with nun-chucks. Their used to be so many back then. Good times foso.
