Since its inception, the annual gathering of Liquid dancers at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival has acted as a measuring stick for our community. Some shake hands as they meet new people. Others give hugs as they remeet with old. New and old faces alike join together to share the ideas they’ve been working on since the last gathering. People from all over the country and of all walks of life come together for one weekend in order to acheive a single goal. That sounds like a recipe for progress and that’s exactly what DEMF 2010, like years past, meant to me.
